Stan
Moskowitz is a plein air painter. He completes his art pieces in final
and finished form while he is still on site. He works quickly while the
natural light remains favorable and true to his subject. He paints
public landmarks and private homes in New York City, but especially in
Brooklyn. People who pass Stan often buy the watercolor from him before
he is finished.
Stan Moskowitz knew he wanted
to paint very early in life. He is a graduate of the High School of
Music and Art, and studied at Pratt, the Brooklyn Museum Art School, and
the Art Students League. Once the head of a design and production
studio, he now works 6 days a week as an independent professional
artist.
Although common street settings
is the focus of his creative eye, it is the distinctive painterly style
which attracts folks to Stan's art.
