| Jacqueline
Lima is a Brooklyn artist and traveling art instructor. Exhibitions
in Moscow and Berlin and teaching art in South Korea have made her an
international presence. In New York, she has had one-person exhibitions
in Soho and on Staten Island, and in galleries throughout upstate New
York and New Jersey. She has been included in group
exhibitions throughout the U.S. including The Delaware Museum, Newport
Rhode Island Art Museum, and galleries in Washington, D.C.,
Arizona, and North Carolina.
Jackie's unique expression has
produced circular perspectives, paintings on spheres showing scenes of joyful
weddings, church worship services and other personal moments-in-time
that she views as life's symbols. The pieces represented here show some
of this unusual stylistic perspective.
Presently Jackie is teaching
drawing at Fairleigh Dickinson University and working on landscapes inspired by her country
home in the Poconos.
